ARE YOU NEW TO THE WORLD OF DATA SCIENCE AND ANALYTICS? NETFLIX IS EXCITED TO PRESENT A SERIES OF HANDS-ON WORKSHOPS TO HELP YOU UNDERSTAND THE VARIOUS ROLES IN THIS FIELD. TO MAKE THE MOST OUT OF THIS DATA SCIENCE AND DEEP LEARNING FOCUSED WORKSHOP, WE REQUIRE PARTICIPANTS TO HAVE WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF PYTHON OR R. LOANER LAPTOPS WILL BE PROVIDED TO PARTICIPANTS WITH PREINSTALLED SOFTWARE.

This workshop is led by Becky Tucker, a Senior Data Scientist working in the Content Science & Analytics team at Netflix this session will help participants understand the steps in modeling process using an exercise that involves Linear Regression. Becky will also talk about model metrics and evaluation and walk through high level concepts.
